Lithography was invented by Alois Senefelder in Bohemia in 1796. In the early days of lithography, a smooth piece of limestone was used, hence the name "Lithography". Fortunately things have moved on a bit since then. Today at Forward Print we print on state-of-the-art Heidelberg printing presses which are simply synonymous with quality.
