Multiprint UK's parent company, Walsall Leather Company Limited, can trace its history back to 1883. It was purchased by the Stephens family in 1928 and traded as suppliers to the cobbler's trade until after the Second World War.
The retail trade in those days was solely luggage, fancy leather goods and handbags but in 1978 we moved into the Sports Retail trade under the trading name of Stephens Sports. Through the sports department we had several enquiries for printed or embroidered sports goods.
