About the Business
It all started back in 1983 when Robert left his previous employment and started working from home. Rob had been at a large printers in Walsall, where he had started straight from school and eventually became foreman of the finishing and bindery department. At this time Richard was working at a small printers, also joining from school he learnt very quickly in all aspects of the trade from Typesetting through to finishing. After a short time working from home, with Richard helping out at evenings & weekends, Rob decided the time was right to find premisess and invited Richard to join him.
They soon moved into their 'new' home, where they rented the ground floor of The Mill, Mill Road, Shelfield. After about 3 years they were given their notice to leave, due to the owners selling for redevelopment. After the initial shock of having to move again they spotted 44 Norton Road, Pelsall. This was previously "Richards" TV & Video shop and before that The Red Shop.
