About the Business
We have combined our love of typography and design with our commercial experience to explore the world of traditional letterpress print using antique presses, original type, beautiful papers and hand mixed inks. Our vintage presses and equipment sit happily alongside modern design techniques. We handset text in the traditional manner, using our collection of original type dating back to the c. 19th and digital artwork can be applied where the brief dictates, using the photopolymer process, to print on our classic press. We create wedding, personal and business stationery, packaging and gift items and happily work with private clients and small boutique businesses alike. We also produce paper goods for retail, which we hope to expand for 2015. We offer regular workshops at our studio for beginners as well as more experienced printers. We have recently upgraded the space, allowing up to 6 people to work at a time.
