About the Business

The company started by offering a Label Printing Bureau service, specialising in barcode labels, sequentially numbered labels and short runs of labels printed to customer specification. These were supplied on a next day delivery basis using High-Speed Thermal Transfer Printing Systems and computer-generated label design options.

Auto ID Systems Ltd rapidly developed a customer base spread throughout the UK and Ireland, some of whom still continue to order their short-run label requirements on a next day service. With a rapidly developing technology in label printers, the requirement emerged for supplies of labelling accessories such as rewinders, counters, dispensers and slitters. An association was formed in May 2000 with Labelmate LLC of Brussels who appointed Auto ID Systems Ltd as the major reseller of the Labelmate product range in the UK and Ireland.

As a family-run business, we can offer customers a full service from our Label Design Printing Bureau through to our supply of full systems including label printers, rewinders and dispensers together with supplies of both plain and printed labels and print ribbons.
