About the Business
Sticky Ink Studios consists of three members and was established at the start of 2013. We love to try and make a friendly and family atmosphere for people to visit, and everyone is always welcome to pop in and have a chat and a drink. Aimee originally trained as an animator, but after finding the local industry short of jobs, she got some part time work as a graphic designer with Mike and Stewart. When she isn't at the Studios, she also teaches a circus skills workshop in Newport. She likes cartoons, dogs and anything silly. She dislikes sweetcorn, colds and the colour pink.
Mike went straight from school to train and work as a flatbed printer, making the sale boards for estate agents. He eventually moved his way through jobs until he became a screen printer for garments, and worked printing fashion wear for a number of years. He likes supporting Newport County and the Gwent Dragons, and dislikes tomatoes and his teams losing.
